The program that helps female entrepreneurs shine

Canadian charity Forum for Women Entrepreneurs is bringing their educational program for female entrepreneurs to Toronto

It’s no secret that there are less resources for female entrepreneurs than for their male counterparts. Approximately 4% of venture capital investment in Canada goes to female-led companies. Given the many obstacles they face, Vancouver-based charity Forum for Women Entrepreneurs began an educational program called E-series. This is a 3-day transformative educational program that provides in-classroom learning on topics that entrepreneurs in Canada need in order to grow.

E-series began in April 2018 in Vancouver and will be making its way to Toronto on October 22nd to October 24th. Key speakers include Jamie Michaels, head of brand strategy of Twitter, and Samantha Renee, merchant success manager of Shopify.
