When cognac distiller Hennessy partners up with modern tattoo shop Chronic Ink, the news is certain to make waves. To honour the Year of the Tiger at the start of the Lunar Year, the two brands partnered up to create three unique and limited-edition capsules. Not only will this collaboration reinforce Hennessy’s artistic heritage while celebrating local artists, but it will also support the Asian Gold Ribbon Campaign.
The Asian Gold Ribbon Campaign is a platform dedicated to raising awareness against anti-Asian hate and racism. With the 2022 lunar new year being the Year of the Tiger, showing fierce courage and embracing Asian heritage during these unprecedented times is the Asian Gold Ribbon Campaign’s goal. In order to support this initiative, Hennessy Canada will be donating profits from the capsule’s sales to the campaign.
The three capsules are the perfect blend between modern artistic designs with a high-end touch. Available in BC and Ontario only for a limited amount of time, each capsule comes with a prestigious bottle of Hennessy and a piece of clothing designed by Chronic Ink to reflect Asian heritage.
Hennessy X.O. Capsule
The first capsule, the Hennessy X.O., comes with a custom Chronic Ink hoodie, paying homage to the Year of the Tiger with its unique design. The statement piece is accompanied by Hennessy X.O. 750 ml bottle wrapped with a custom Chronic Ink Ribbon and topped off with Pocky Cookies & Cream Biscuit sticks.
Hennessy V.S.O.P Capsule
The second capsule, the Hennessy V.S.O.P., comes with its very own Chronic Ink x Hennessy Cap that you will be able to wear while sipping on the Hennessy V.S.O.P. 750 ml bottle included in the capsule.
Hennessy Paradis Capsule
Last, but certainly not least, is the Hennessy Paradis Capsule, the ultimate result of the two brands working together to create something luxurious and edgy. Not only does it come with a cap and a hoodie, but you will also find two cognac glasses and a 700ml Hennessy Paradis bottle all enclosed in a limited edition Chronic Ink Paradis Hennessy Display case.
